Hot Rod-Comedy starring Andy Samberg as a delusional amateur stuntman. I like these delusional characters; remind me of me.

The Invasion-a pseudo-remake of Invasion of the Body Snatchers starring Nicole Kidman and Daniel Craig in a nerded-up role. Some production issues including script rewrites and reshoots with another director, but may still turn out proper.

I Am Legend-The big bopper. When I first heard of this, I was like "aww, yeahh!", then it was revealed that the lead role would be played by the Fresh Prince, Mr. Wiccky Wiccky Wild Wild West Will Smith and I was greatly perturbed. The new teaser trailer lessened this feeling, but the film is still too much an unnecessary remake of The Omega Man and less an adaptation of the classic novel.

Seemingly unrelated, but seeing as this be my journal, anything I care to write about is automatically relevant. Wahahaha!

I loved to draw and sketch and he wanted to be an architect?! This reminds me of how Weird Al related that he wanted to be a comic artist but was pushed into getting a degree as an architect. What is with the anti-art bias in the USA? "It doesn't make money, it doesn't make money." Who the hell becomes an artist thinking it's the path to riches, other than possibly filmmakers? Like Scott McCloud said, how many potential comic book artists have been lost due to views/societal pressure like that?
